Mollie Vehling is a proud UCLA graduate with a B.A. in dance. While at UCLA, she served on the UCLA Dance Team for two years. Mollie is currently in her 11th season as the UCLA Spirit Squad director. With more than 25 years of experience and training in dance, choreography, producing and directing, she is thrilled to be working with the UCLA program.
Mollie has most recently judged for AmeriCheer’s 2008 International Championships at Walt Disney World, the 2006 All-Star Championships in Baltimore, and the 2004, 2005 and 2006 Los Angeles Clipper Spirit Auditions. She enjoys working as the producer for many events around the Los Angeles area, including the 2005 and 2006 UCLA men’s basketball games in Pauley Pavilion. Mollie was the assistant director at CheerHawaiiUSA 2002 camp in Honolulu, Hawaii where she helped direct more than 100 campers for 10 days in paradise.
Mollie produced instructional cheer and dance DVDs with Championship Productions available online at Championship Productions.
In the past four years, Mollie has traveled with the team to Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai. She has choreographed and coordinated the productions for each of those international trips. She has also choreographed for multiple television and movie projects.
Mollie and her husband, Derek, are the proud parents of Lillie, Emilie and Brodie - all future Bruins!
