Oregon State Trip (9/29/2007)

Traveling to Oregon State was great!  It was my first trip to an away game where I was the only member on Yell Crew and it was absolutely awesome.  While there were not that many UCLA fans (around 300 in our section) and the majority of the game we were down, it was great to be the one guy that they were looking to as they cheered on our Mighty Bruins, especially in the fourth quarter!  The excitement from both the team and the fans in that last quarter made the trip amazing.  It was also pretty cool to run the flags across the field for the first time and be booed by the other team.  Of course winning the game in such a crazy manner was awesome but what I was most amazed by was how classy the fans at Oregon State were.  I have been traveling with the Bruins for a while and have encountered many fans from different schools and the Oregon State fans were an absolute pleasure to be around.  All in all it was a great trip that had a crazy game thrown in there!
