Final auditions for the Spirit Squad took place on Sunday, May 7. A dedicated group of judges selected the next team of enthusiastic, talented and committed Bruins to be ambassadors for UCLA and support our athletic teams. Congratulations to the members of our 2017-18 UCLA Spirit Squad.

Inspired by the multiple requests from military servicemen and women, Battling Bruins honors people who are facing or have survived hardships such as injuries, illnesses, disabilities, military service, etc. Please check out our 37th Battling Bruin, Gabriella! And please nominate a Battling Bruin in your life!

Junior Spirit Squad

Community Outreach
Each year, the Spirit Squad tackles a community outreach event the day before our first home football game. On Sept. 9, the team enjoyed a morning at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and prepared over 2000 bags of food for school children and senior citizens in need.
